Learning aims

Coping with aggression in the workplace is often regarded as part of the job when working as a carer. Although challenging behaviour is often understandable, it can never be excused or ignored.

The need for effective communication underpins this training which explores issues such as personal boundaries and the non-physical aspects of dealing with potentially threatening situations.
