Learning aims

Members of staff accept the fact that coping with bereavement is an inevitable part of the care package; but this alone cannot prepare them for the reality.

This training is intended to help staff explore their own experiences and/or concerns within a supportive framework which outlines the basic principles for delivering palliative care and for coping in the period immediately following bereavement.
